Formed in 2017, the Burlington Chamber Players is a string quartet whose goal is to spread joy through their music. The four young musicians that make up BCP enjoy working as a team to learn new music, create arrangements together, and gain experience performing.
BCP plays classical music from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras. They volunteer at senior living communities, rehabilitation centers, and fundraisers in the Burlington and Chittenden County, Vermont area. Group members enjoy interacting with audience members and meeting new people.
The quartet consists of two violinists, one violist, and one cellist. We perform works by many composers, including Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Tchaikovsky.
